What? She killed 'em with mathematics. What else could it have been?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Somebody once upon a time got a lot of god publicity within the party for their response and now everybody is hoping it'll happen to them, is my understanding. Don't remember who or when that was, though. Or which party even.

I seriously need to stop reading my phone before I get out of bed in the morning. Looks like breakfast at my desk again.

Coding and Sleeping

You'd just think after Bobby Jindal's response speech nobody would want to do one ever again.

Well, I'd think no one would ever want to run for office, it looks like a nightmare, so clearly I can't judge.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I took 2 benedryl last night and I slept like a baby, but it is 11 am and I still feel like I am functioning through Jello! I won't do that again, although I find the loopy feeling somewhat pleasant.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

If we took Bobby Jindal's embarrassing performances into account for everything, nobody would want to breathe because he's been seen doing it...

Good point, amych. There was a brief moment, before he was governor IIRC, but not, I think, as far back as high school, when he seemed like a reasonable guy who I could hope would be good for the state. Oh well.

Sophia, you probably need the rest!

Come to think of it, I think maybe I have successfully fought off the cold/whatever that was threatening yesterday - breathing freely this morning. Hot and sour soup ftw! And I only had about a cup, I'll have the rest for lunch today (or maybe lunch and dinner depending on how hungry I am at lunch time...)

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Charlie Rose seems to be talking about Obama's SOTU in the context of Hamilton and George Washington's last SOTU. So far, no one has said "Everyone shall sit under their own vine and fig tree."

I should really listen to Hamilton so I know what you guts are talking about, huh?

Also, I have a vine, want a fig tree.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I wouldn't mind a fig ....

In SOTU news, this turned up in relation to something at work.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

I'm at home since the little guy had his 6 month checkup. Wow, 6 months. How time flies...
