"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Seriously, what is happening in this game?

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I have NEVER seen a 4th quarter like that. INSANE.

But we deserved that loss after those personal fouls. That was UGLY.

And yet, I am honor-bound to say: SUCK IT, ROETHLISBERGER, you rapey bastard.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I was so rooting for the Bengals, but man. They really did that to themselves. Sorry, Steph.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Yesterday we ran a few errands. Got photos of the little guy printed out for the next letter to his birth mom, then went to the comic book shop so I could pick up my subscriptions. (Lots and lots of Doctor Who comics.)

Oh, I totally agree that the Bengals did it to themselves. They 100% deserved that loss. If Marvin Lewis can't control his team, he shouldn't be coaching.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That sounds cool, Sheryl.

I'm kind of relieved that I don't have to watch football at this point, that game sounds stressful.

Finally figured out that the reason I resisted getting out of bed so hard this morning is probably that I had been dreaming that I was late for work and was about to get fired (and my dream roommates were NOT HELPING. Jerks). not a great reaction from the conscious or subconscious mind, self. This was after dreaming of an alternate ending to Mad Men that involved Jon Hamm in Hawaiian shirts- that one I'm okay with.

Anyway, need to put that behind me and get something done today. Breakfast is probably a good place to start.

Ooof, I crashed hard and precipitously last night. Got home around 12:30, talked another hour, then I couldn't unwind until suddenly moving off the couch was Too Much around 3. Even left the lights on. Woke up when Karen rushed out to meet excontractor at 8. Chatted some more, got her on the road, ran a couple errands and now laundering. Still tired.

Being social outside the usual, man...

Our wings are not tired.

Mmmmhmm, mmmmhmmm. ::nods knowingly:

nods along nice!

Guess I can still get one of those lottery tickets. Although standing in line is not an option. Not that enthused.

Socialized last night, so back to working today, with football in the background although I don't really have a favored team.
