Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

peace out

I'm taking a nap and then packing. I need my passport/ID, credit cards, glasses/contacts, smartphone, meds, some clothes/underwear, boots, and a jacket. Is there anything else I can't either live without or buy when I get there?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That sounds like the important stuff.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Didn't make it to work due to stupid earache and cough and stuff. Slept a lot and now forcing myself to stay awake and drink a lot of water.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Is there anything else...?

Book(s) to read on the plane?

Earphones?

It's a long flight. Consider a backup battery for the smartphone? (I keep one similar to this in my emergency kit. They sell them in the checkout lines at my local grocery stores for $5-$10. They probably sell them at the airport, too -- but for a lot more.)

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Backup battery, books, and a voltage converter. I don't use earphones.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Just got back from a colleague's funeral. Funeral mass makes everyone sound the same.

Our wings are not tired.

The last funeral mass I went to was most annoying because the priest kept calling the deceased by her formal name, when absolutely everyone called her by her nickname, including the priest whom she had known for decades.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Tired. Flight ended up taking off over 2 hours late, so we didn't land in DC until 10. Luckily, we didn't check any bags, so once we got off the plane, and got the little guy in his stroller, we went straight to the car.
