Timelies all!
Tired. Flight ended up taking off over 2 hours late, so we didn't land in DC until 10. Luckily, we didn't check any bags, so once we got off the plane, and got the little guy in his stroller, we went straight to the car.

The priest had this whole thing about L, my colleague, on her death bed. He said she was a beautiful soul like 17 times. It just felt like he didn't know her. It was also the first time since 1993 that I have been to a Catholic mass. I couldn't remember what they changed the Peace Be With You response to. But they sang hymns I knew.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.
The preacher who gave the sermon at my mom's funeral actually didn't know her. So we told him all about her. He ignored everything we said and read a canned sermon. Even called mom by her first name, Mary. No one ever called her Mary in her life. It was so insulting. If we'd had any energy left we'd have demanded our money back.
