I made my coffee and my todo list for the day. It's a bit intimidating, but I'm trying to just forge my way through it. Starting with the food stuff and the laundry, as I know eventually I'll need to put all my chores aside and help Cody with the Sisyphean task of sorting his mother's books for keep/donate/store in the attic.

I figure I'm owed a few days considering I lost the last three weekends to international work travel.
I am feeling vindicated! I ran 5 miles this morning AND (AND!!) I have finished my work conference call AND AND AND I sent my package to my mom.

You are way ahead of me, Kat.
So this happened to my college roommate and her family yesterday: [link]
Thankfully everyone is okay. What an awful thing to happen, ever, but right at the holidays seems especially terrible. I know Trudy's been through this as well.
I am at work. A library patron just asked me how to spell "turd."
It's practically like being at home, except I am pretty sure my son knows how to spell turd.
