This girl at school? She told me that gelatin is made from ground-up cow's feet and that every time you eat Jell-O there's some cow out there limping around without any feet. But I told her that I'm sure the cow is dead before they cut its feet off, right?

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Is it a how-to course, Sophia?

Going to see Star Wars on Monday at the swanky theater with heated recliners.

Jesus, it got cold outside!

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

That's awfully long to wait, shrift. I'd call them and ask how much longer on the order.

I've gotten almost everything done, except Christmas gifts have not been wrapped and sent. Looks like I'll be solving that problem by throwing money at it on Monday. My own fault. No energy to care about it right now.

I posted a picture of the snow mountain in our cul-de-sac on Facebook. Today the plow guy is back, moving the snow into a truck and dumping it somewhere before returning for more, I've seen 3 truckloads so far and the pile is still pretty big.

Shrift, I hope you have gown your food by now. That is crazy long to wait.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I am going to weep. Unless more grades get posted, Mac is still failing 2 classes. He's already been without electronics (well partially, he refused to give me his phone - THAT will get discussed at therapy). Actuslly I am not sure he is any worse while being punished, it is just that I know he is angry and that puts me on edge.

It ended up being at least 90 minutes and probably closer to 2 hours. I did call and they finally brought it. They put half on the house.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

msbelle, please check your gmail. And I'm so sorry everything is being so difficult right now.

Punishingly Intricate

Our usual Cristmas eve dinner is crab but that's likely out this year given the toxic algae or whatever it is, so I'm thinking pork roast maybe? I can always cook it the next day instead.

We split a 1/2 pig this year with friends and ended up with 3 pork loin roasts. I made all three the same way because it was so freaking good! Stuffed with bread crumbs and blue cheese and roasted with apples. NOMS! I'd be happy to share the recipe if those things sound delicious for you and your fam.

Congrats on the job progress, sara!

I have probably 8 million things to do before we leave for Michigan on Tuesday. Including getting gifts for several MI family members. And I'm working tomorrow morning and Monday. And I have 8 million things to do at work where I've spent the week learning the job of someone who's last day is today. Hoping I haven't forgotten all of it when I come back to work after the first of the year. I'll be working in the position for a month figuring out if I want the job for real permanents. I'm not so sure I want to be tied down to one full-time job, though! I've gotten used to being to (basically) come and go as I please!

Our wings are not tired.

I neglected to take notes for a proper meara, so just be assured that there where cheers and nods and shaking fists at various points.

Ran here to escape the crazy. I made the mistake of clicking on a link to an article about the professor being fired from FAU for being a bat shit crazy Sandy Hook conspiracy advocate. I read the comments. It is so freaking scary out there.

I love Buffistas for many reasons, but your sanity, yes I loves that the most. Thank you. You may not think you are sane at times, but you really really are.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

If we're lucky, we'll be able to sneak out to see Star Wars while we're in Florida next weekend.(With my folks babysitting the little guy, of course.)
