Look, you got a little stabbed the other day. That's bound to make anyone a mite ornery.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

A couple days ago I was putting on my shoes to walk out the door and sat on a cold, wet hairball. Hardwood floors everywhere an they gotta go for the upholstery.

Yesterday I burned my hand trying to turn off the hot water in the shower. The blister placement makes writing utensils difficult.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Cold or warm? In my experience warm is worse.

You have my deepest sympathies for being in a position to make that assessment.

Well. And the appendectomy, but mostly the cat barf thing.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

A couple days ago I was putting on my shoes to walk out the door and sat on a cold, wet hairball.

Yesterday I went to pick up what I thought was a wad of black electrical tape from the floor (it made sense given the location; it could have fallen off of a power cord that had electrical tape on it)...and it was a hairball. I pick up hairballs all the time, but not with my bare hand!!! I did in fact recoil and screech in horror.

Our wings are not tired.

Now watch it people; I have stitches in my gut. Laughter is not a good plan.

Lukewarm. Dragged my hem in it, so also had to change.

OTOH, came in to IT doing emergency work on major storage, including mine. So basically we're down and they're busy as shit.

Everyone cross your fingers that the Corolla checks out fine at our mechanic today. If it does, we'll have a new-to-us car by tonight! I'm considering naming it after my old Big!Boss, because a large chunk of the funds for it are coming from my severance from that job.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Fingers, toes, arms, legs, eyes all crossed for you. Unfortunately that means work will be a challenge today, but it is worth it for you.

You could call it Severance Snape.

Now I want a bumper sticker for my car (also a Corollla) saying "My other car is a Slytherin."

City Hall evacuated due to fire alarm. City spokesperson set it off trying to heat latkes in the oven. I'm finding this very funny.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Yay new car, Steph!

Health ~ma to everyone, especially Laura and amyth on their abdominal surgeries.

I had a dream last night that included having to log into the dryer with Ellen Pmopeo's log-in credentials and then being arrested and not believed by the IT police tht the dryer FORCED me to log in that way. And then Ellen Pompeo's father was there looking like someone from Walking Dead, trying to find her and wondering why I had chosen her credentials and if I could help him.
