There seems to be a portal opening up over the lake, there's a bright beam of light coming down out of the sky. Oh, wait, that's sunlight. Co-worker: "The sun! It's forgiven me! No, come back, sun!"

What do you get when you have a quiet cul-de-sac with 7+ inches of snow, a 19 year old boy, and his car? Donuts. You get donuts through the snow. Goofy boy. On the other hand, he has also been shoveling more than just our property.
Wait, what sara? I can't parse what's going on but I'm sure your diagnosis of stupid is on point.
Paid my personal property tax on time, like an adult. Forgot to transfer the money to cover payment from savings into checking. $400 overdrawn. *facepalm* See, I keep a line of credit open for just this kind of stupid fail, so I'm only in debt now, not drowning in NSF fees. Still. Stupid.
Most bomb scares are bullshit, but it's better to check, I guess? Don't envy the person that had to make the call, though.
I am legit so stressed about the enormity of buying a car that I have to take an Ativan and I'm watching Avengers (it's my big comfy blankie movie).
I am ridiculous. But Jesus, I just transferred 5 figures from my savings to my checking, and I almost hyperventilated. It's all just so HUGE.
(You can tell I've never bought a house before. That might make me spontaneously combust.) (And every other car I've bought, I've financed it, so I didn't have to write a giant check of my own money.)
Just remember Teppy, you don't have to buy it tonight. Or tomorrow. I mean, if you do buy it good for you but you don't have to!
I'm a bit sad because I ordered a painting of a friend's dog on etsy (sent in pictures and stuff) and told my friend (it wasn't supposed to be ready until after Christmas) and she was super excited. But the artist just emailed me a copy of her picture and...it's not great. It's ok, but....not really what I pictured. And now I worry my friend will be super disappointed too! :(
Teppy, buying expensive things makes me wrap myself in quilts and watch tv for a few hours just to stop hyperventilating, too. But it's amazing! You gonna buy a car with cash! You ought'a wear a tiara when you write the check.

What's weird about buying a house is some people spend less time in a house than I do trying on shoes. I think I was in my now house for less than an hour total over two visits before I made an offer.
I also just reupped my mortgage over the phone in a five minute phone call. Maybe I should have thought about it more. (Should I have gone for the variable rate?)
