No, that's natural.

We were in the car on our way to school when someone texted Katie.
I know it's awful to say, but I'm having a distinct snow day vibe. I'm sure it was credible and they took it seriously, but it still feels like an extra day off.
The forecast said 1-2 inches of snow overnight. The forecast lied - we are more like 6-8 inches so far and it is still falling. SO glad I work from home. K-Bug normally goes to work around noon on Tuesdays and she is hoping they close the office. The roads are CRAZY. I don't know if the snowplows weren't ready or what.
Bomb scare is nuts. Have they found anything?
Welcome Otto.
Health~ma to Laura and Shrift.
Yay, Otto!
I'm sorry about the bomb scare, Burrell.
My office is doing a daily cookie thing--there's a calendar, and one person per day brings in their favorite cookies. Today my manager brought in something like ground up Oreos in a chocolate ganache--Oreo truffles, basically. So good.
I got to work on time! Only a couple of inches fell last night, and they actually treated the roads and driveways this morning. I parked so backing up is downhill, which should help with the getting stuck on ice problem I had last night. Though with with the blowing snow going on out there, I expect I'll have a snowdrift up to my bumper by tonight.
Connie, this is typically the week I would come out to Salt Lake for work, but we had decided a while back that this month we would do the updates over the phone. My PM told me about how much snow you got yesterday and said he was glad I wasn't traveling this week.
Suzi, that was very wise. It's ten times worse in the Salt Lake Valley than it is in my valley just to the south. It took my housemate two and a half hours to get home last night, and it's normally 45 minutes.
ION, a lot of my co-workers apparently had a multi-player game of something last night, because they're all going "And then that tank came over the ridge, and I was like, crap! I'm out of ammo!" and "I know, dude, it was hysterical! Did you see Tim stuck behind that tree?" "I know, dude!" I kind of love my geek co-workers. At the end of the day, when things are very slow, we'll get into political discussions, and the ones that are conservative have brains. Though the guy with the Family Guy imitations can stop any time now.
Is that--it is! It's a patch of blue sky! And there are actual shadows on the ground! Huzzah!
Ugh, I forgot to pay my car insurance. Fortunately, my insurance agent calls me to tell me i need to pay rather than just cancelling my insurance, but that's a major adulting fail right there.
I hope I paid my registration but I don't think I can check easily while I'm at work. Gah.
Oops, -t. I forgot to cancel a recurring order--I had moved it as far out as possible, got their "it will ship in 4 days if you don't change/cancel", and....didn't do anything. It's a bunch of stuff I may eventually use but really didn't need and is like $200 worth. Got the "it shipped!" email today. Argh.
