Jilli! I used you as an example last night of being Goth in the workplace! FauxSon's daughter is somewhat Goth, and she had a hard time finding an internship because the teacher who places the students thinks Goth is horribly unprofessional. FauxGranddaughter found her own internship, and the people she works with think she looks terrific. She took the paperwork to the teacher, and when the teacher called the business to confirm everything, she actually tried to talk the business out of working with FG. Business told FG, "Your teacher is a little odd, isn't she."
That's the thrill of living in the Hellmouth! There's a veritable cornucopia of fiends and devils and ghouls to engage ... Pardon me for finding the glass half-full.
