Unf, Brenda, that happened to me before. Très uncomfortable. I hope things can smooth over quickly.
I've actually managed to miss most caroling. I guess I don't go to to the store frequently enough? Portland in general isn't very obnoxious about The Holidays.
I ended up crashing for 14 hours and change following my last finals yesterday. All-nighters are significantly more challenging than they were 10 years ago.
Well, that was a long fucking day. Got a headach around noon that I'm hoping getting some dinner in me will help. So tired.
The holiday shindig was loud and chaotic and I had to take a whole Ativan to cope (I normally only ever take 1/2), and even so, I had to leave after about 90 minutes because it was too overwhelming and I couldn't deal. Nice comfy bed and quiet bedroom now.
Oh, Juliebird, that's so hard.
And I just Bible-versed Daniel's sister on Facebook. Christmas ought to be real innnnnnnnteresting.
I feel you, Teppy. spoke about policies at the big companywide meeting today, then got a headache. I skipped the company party tonight, which was the right choice. Tomorrow--breakfast at our diner, then of to get MY NEW TATTOO!!!!!1!!!!1!!!!!
Job~ma to your brother, Consuela. I hope he ends up in a position he likes.
Woot! Yay new tats!
I'm in an Uber, and the driver is deaf! He liked that I knew the sign for (terminal) A, but it's a good thing they only have the first few letters of the alphabet!
Market done. Eating empanadas, mobbed by cats. Then shopping.
I'd really rather nap.
Thanks, shrift
And I'm sorry, because the interview process is kind of terrible.
yeah, the fact that it began on a Friday, late afternoon, for one thing!
Your day sounds wonderfully productive sarameg. Mine so far has involved only coffee, laundry, dishes, and listening to my daughter whine about having to get up. That last part is pretty funny. Oh wait! I forgot the best part: kitty snuggles. Luna always likes to start the day with purrs and cuddles. It's incredibly gratifying to have someone that happy to see me in the morning.
