Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Well, shit, brenda.

I'm hoping he's new enough that he didn't quite grasp what was going on. My other team members would have been all over me.

"Father Christmas" by Yes.

I think that's the Kinks? Either way, I like it.

Just heard Christmas Wrapping out in the store, it made me happy. Have not heard anything I don't like yet, which is nice.

There are a LOT of carols I only know from sheet music, so I like them buy the version is just, you know, in my head, so who knows if I really like them.

Fairytale of New York is, of course, a favorite Xmas song.

Oy, brenda.

I'm all behind. So: get well soon, Liese! Congratulations Brenda and Nanita on good job news! Sympathies to Maria on losing the bid, I remember what that's like.

Love me some Chrissy Hynde.

I have not yet been LDB'd, mostly because I'm avoiding stores. Got most of my shopping done last weekend at the Title 9 Warehouse sale, and on Amazon this week.

My brother could use some job-ma if there's any to spare. He's being drummed out of his company and it's all very high-powered and hush-hush and lawyered-up. Meanwhile he's interviewing for two jobs in the Bay Area, one of which would be awful and the other would be great. So it's nice to see him, but yikes. I'm so glad I'm not a high-powered executive.

And now it's off to Good Will and the climbing gym. Then a haircut, a vet visit, and helping Dad decorate his apartment for Christmas. Fun times!

Wow, Consuela, good luck to him.

This was not enough of a lunch break. In that I had to do some work rather than just take a break and eat my lunch. Bah. Ah, well, 6 more hours.

I know that tune, but not the words. Is it in Appalachian Spring?

I am fond of Joni Mitchell's River as a Christmas song.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Good vibes for your brother, Consuela.

My favorite Christmas carol is "O Come, O Come Emanuel".

I know that tune, but not the words.

There is another folk song with that tune. Tis a Gift to be Simple, I think?

My favorite Christmas carol is "O Come, O Come Emanuel".

Love that one.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

"Simple Gifts" is the Shaker song, and it's used in Appalachian Spring.

Edit: Meaning, brenda is right and Sophia is right.
