I really hope it's not shingles, Sparky.
Oh, no, Sparky.
Do you have to have had chickenpox to get shingles, am I remembering that right? I hope you don't have shingles either way, I understand it's pretty miserable.
Glad to see your pixels, amyth!
Yipes and extra yipes, Sparky!! That's not a good situation.
I've always thought Vermont was the Tea Party's worst nightmare--a bunch of well armed lefties.
I am a fan of this idea, I just wished I liked firearms more.
I had shingles and got diagnosed right away and they gave me Valtrex and it worked like a charm. Go team effective drugs with no side effects (for me)! I had a coworker with a too young to be vaccinated baby at the time but we figured our contact was limited enough that we didn't worry much.
Today's demonstration march seems much larger than other daytime-work day marches have been.
Apparently shingles uses the same nerve paths set up by chicken pox. What's even freakier is that psoriasis uses those same nerve paths, so if you have chicken pox, you're susceptible to shingles. But there's a genetic component to psoriasis, so one's at risk for that only if one's predisposed.
Bodies are freaky.
Amyth, good to see you're recovering well! Good luck on the exams, SA! And Sparky, that's a bunch of stuff in pretty close sequence. I hope if it's shingles, you have the same good outcome as flea.
dH has not had the chicken pox vaccine. So, wish us both luck.
I suspect the second night was racial profiling by MPD, as they were the ones who zeroed in on this faculty member as a suspicious person. My opinion only, with all the caveats that attach.
Swift diagnosis and treatment of shingles~ma, Sparky, and figuring out how best to safeguard your DH.
Exam~ma, SA.
Hi, amyth! It's good to see you. I hope you are felling better soon.
I suspect the second night was racial profiling by MPD, as they were the ones who zeroed in on this faculty member as a suspicious person. My opinion only, with all the caveats that attach.
Well, I confess to thinking when you mentioned that the second lock-down had been a false alarm regarding a faculty member, "Wonder what color his skin was".
Ugh, Sparky! Sounds like a mess!
Apparently shingles uses the same nerve paths set up by chicken pox.
Huh, I thought shingles and chicken pox were caused by the same virus. I should look that up, shouldn't I?
