I think what my daughter's trying to say is: nyah nyah nyah nyah.

Hang in there Zen.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Nanita, universal acclaim sounds about right for you.

Zen, sending you all the safe and effective release of emotions vibes I can...

Sparky, I'm glad you are safe at home.

brillig

I could use some don't-have-a-breakdown ~ma if anyone has some just lying around.

Do you have time in the near future to have one? They are sometimes inevitable, and not too bad if you plan for them.

One bag of cookies for my pool staff, one bag for front desk. I've neglected them ( but they don't save lanes for me... Serious love for the instructors who invite me to share the swim lesson lane when short on kids or go do lessons in the main pool area when laps are busy and I'm there. And yes, been told I do get preferential treatment because they like me. And cookies.)

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Sending you all the spare ~ma we have lying around here, Zen. Be gentle with yourself.

Whaaat? That's a thing?

Not a thing exactly, just 10 yo boy acting his age. Writing down snarky, slightly off color answers in his workbook and snickering to himself.

I made my own chai tea tonight. It's fairly yummy although I think if I make this a thing, I should get some cardamom pods too.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Crappy day, capped by lots of stupid stuff, like I forgot my computer and had to go back down the stairs to my office, then lost my badge in the process, and everyone was stupid. Then a concert tonight that was a private event for a company, and the audience was kind of dull and only occasionally responsive.

Then driving home, I put Vienna Teng's Level Up on repeat and made myself cry on the freeway.

Sleep now. So much sleep.

Oh, one of the orchestra songs at these concerts is Little Drummer Boy. So I have lost another two times, with four more to come this weekend.

What is even happening?

I really hate that we've lost ita, and have now lost Ginger. Don't get me wrong, these ladies are completely different, except how they both fill unique roles.

Goodnight, my loves. :(

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Not a thing exactly, just 10 yo boy acting his age. Writing down snarky, slightly off color answers in his workbook and snickering to himself.

I still have to work to filter my own snarky, slightly off comments, so I feel for him.

Congrats, Nanita. Recovery~ma for Amyth. And Zen, whatever kind of ~ma you need. Let us know if we can do anything.

I like Bernie Sanders like I like my dad like people. But there's a part of me screaming ' but you just don't get it' just like with dad like people. Generation and situation gap.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I really hate that we've lost ita, and have now lost Ginger. Don't get me wrong, these ladies are completely different, except how they both fill unique roles.

I understand that completely.
