Mal: Well, look at this! Appears we got here just in the nick of time. What does that make us? Zoe: Big damn heroes, sir.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Who wants to suggest things for my Amazon wishlist?

The status is NOT quo.

I can't take work off today, too much end-of-semester work to do and it just needs to be done. But I've noticed that my initial reaction to loss has been numbness lately, tears NSM.

This and more this.

((((Plei)))))

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I'm so sorry, Plei.

I saw yet another photo report of the Donald, and the font made me misread his name as Turnip. I think we should propagate that. Turnip for President--really? Are you sure?

Coding and Sleeping

Who wants to suggest things for my Amazon wishlist?

Easy. You want a JL421 Badonkadonk Land Cruiser/Tank. Boom. Done.

Ann, that's a ferret.

All condolences, Plei.

Turnip for President--really? Are you sure?

A real turnip would be better qualified.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I think I will call him turnip from now on.

The inlaws are here and the baby has settled down enough for me to leave her with them while I try to nap. I really want to cry but I know that that would lead to them checking on me and I'd rather be alone. Plus I know they think it is silly for me to be upset at the loss of an Internet friend I only "met" once.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Farewell, Ginger, I'm so glad I got to meet you at the Atlanta F2F. Your fonts, among much else will be missed. And thank you Zen for keeping us updated.

And fuck cancer!

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Last week shooting Orange there was moment that was just somehow ita's. Today we wrapped the season and there is a chunk of Ginger carried through those scenes. Legally and sorta morally (I do enjoy that I've given up my amature status and am PROFESSIONALLY anti-spoiler) I can't tell you any more now than that they're in some whisper of a way part of next season's finale.

Now, home and warm, it's time for a little bourbon and the big cry I've been beating back all day. Time to hang out with all of you and speak of those we've lost too soon - Henry, ita, and now Ginger. Time to pay the bitter price for our lives being richer than they'd have been.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Catching up on COMM:

Ginger, in Natter:

Here is an example of why I have Too Much Stuff.

I got a newer style plunger to deal with a clog that the traditional style failed at. I started to throw out the old one, but then I thought, "Suppose I want to make a Dalek?"

clearly the dalek plunger needs to be created in her honor.
