Here is an example of why I have Too Much Stuff.
I got a newer style plunger to deal with a clog that the traditional style failed at. I started to throw out the old one, but then I thought, "Suppose I want to make a Dalek?"
clearly the dalek plunger needs to be created in her honor.

Roomba? Electric mattress pad? Alcohol? Jewelry? Spa day?
Does anyone have an update on Amyth? Isn't she getting her gallbladder out about now? Calli will you be in touch with her and us for updates??
I just heard from Amyth's friend with whom she'll be staying for a few days while she recovers. The surgery went well, but the anesthesia made her nauseated, and they haven't released her yet. Surgery was scheduled for just a few hours ago, I believe, so I'm not surprised she's still there. I'll post more updates when I have them.
Anesthesia can be more debilitating that the actual surgery.
Thanks, Calli! I hope she feels all better soon.
Thanks Calli! A relative had their gallbladder out, and the recovery's no joke.
Thanks for the update, Calli! Even if the recovery is rough, it sounds like it's got to be better than the amount of pain poor Amyth was in before. And at least it'll get less, and stop, and never come back.
Anesthesia can be more debilitating that the actual surgery.
Yup. Postpartum, as the C-section anesthesia was working its way out of my system, it was only a nurse with a bedpan in hand and lightning reflexes who saved me from barfing all over Matilda's head.
"Welcome to the world! Your Mommy and Daddy love you very much--"
"BLARGH"
"Well, your Daddy loves you, your Mommy is going to need a minute."
