'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

So sorry I haven't been checking in here, in the expectation that everything would be going well. And missing out on just a little more Ginger, whom I hold in the greatest admiration and love.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

It's feeling like we're going to lose one of the true grownups

God, I know.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Fuck.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I can't decide whether I want to go to work or call in sick.

Because books.

The shock of ita's death was truly awful, but I think this is awful, too because I wish like anything we could all be there, draped around her with laptops and tiaras and drinks and books and all of our love, and we can't.

Our wings are not tired.

We can't be with Ginger, but we can be together, and that helps. I have to believe she feels our love.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I know what you mean, Amy.

I'm working from home today, and only doing what is really necessary. We're a little short-handed already and I don't want to burden my coworkers with my accounts, but I can't face anyone asking how I'm doing/how my weekend was.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

There's nothing at work that really needs to be done, and I couldn't imagine thinking at some point in the future "I'm so glad I went to work today." So I'm staying home.
