One of the people I work with collapsed at work and they had to call an ambulance. I'm working from home so I don't have details, but very worried for her, naturally. She's tough, but I've been worried about her health for a couple years now.

New oxygen sensors cost about $250 dollars to confirm and put in. I backed out of group beers tonight (that I organized) because I don't feel safe driving to Durham on just a couple of hours' sleep (the pain has been keeping me up) with the epilepsy and all, which is probably overly cautious, but I'm also tired. One of the guys I have beers with offered to help with anything post-surgery, and another wrote a poem lamenting my absence. A third just wrote that they will pour one out in my memory, which I don't think is exaaactly what he meant.
