It's called a blaster, Will, a word that tends to discourage experimentation. Now, if it were called the Orgasmater, I'd be the first to try your basic button press approach.

brillig

I just checked my bank balance, and now I'm double checking all my bills, because there was more than I expected and I'm sure that means I missed something. But there doesn't seem to be. It's sad when doing well is a source of stress.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Dang. I'm working the sale tomorrow and I'm until 6, so I was planning on not coming in to the office until 9:30, but I have to do a thing that has an early deadline. Dangnabbit all to heck.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

All right, I have uploaded some receipts that I hope will get a charge approved so I don't have to pay back my FSA, because seriously. And I just called the pharmacy because my insurance will not approve 90 day prescription refills, for that would be too convenient.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Just got hit in the face with my iPad because a passing truck startled a kneading Loki.

You need to get hold of their new version, the iPadded.

Ha, got the tomorrow morning thing done today. I think.

Do not feel like going to the gym now...

Timelies all!

Yay, I used the treadmill today. Let's see if I can use it another time this week.

Gold stars all around!

I think the last straw fell; elimination of separate sick leave without an increase in PTO.

Just sent an intemperate one liner to my retiring boss.

information libertarian

I am feeling really glum about my career, a direct result of someone I knew when she was a 23 year old intern just getting a department-head level job at Emory. I feel like every job I get is a step down - I started at a top academic research library, then went to a big state school, and now I'm at a (good) public library. Every single one of those moves was due to moving for mr. flea's work, and then having to find a new job in whatever city we ended up. But I feel like I'll never have a good job again, and I'm getting past my prime.

As in you had 10 sick days and 10 vacation days and now have 20 PTO? Or like you had 10/10 and now have 10? Because the latter is totally a quittable offense. (Something way less egregious, for which they after protest gave us a 1% raise for, is what caused the mass exodus at my last job)
