I, for one, wasn't looking forward to starting my day with a slaughter. Which, really, just goes to show how much I've grown

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I literally cannot face my email this morning because of the explosion of Cyber Monday emails.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I very carefully packed my coffee grinder and Aeropress and filters and accessories and a box of cream yesterday so I could just grab the bag on the way out the door and have delicious coffee at my desk this morning. Did not pack any coffee beans.

Also forgot to bring in my 5k medals (I hang them on my cubicle wall behind my monitor to have something rewarding to look at while I'm working) and my niece's birthday present that I wanted to put in the mail after work. It's so much easier to run my errands after work if I don't go home first, but not today.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Sounds like SOMEone has a case of the Mondays!

Yeah, it's ridiculous.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I have almost no email. Odd.

Our wings are not tired.

he asked "are you working"

Ha! I'd be amused. Then again, on the Monday after a holiday weekend I'd be grateful for any distraction other than work issues. Firewalls down, flooding in one office, this and that server down. Not my issues, but they always seem to call my office first. Sigh. Ready for a nap.

My work email is not flooded with anything, just usual Monday stuff - have not looked at personal...

Yes. And it makes me crazy because then I feel pressured to buy stuff and figure out what I need to purchase for people and do it NOW NOW NOW before I miss the best price, but I don't KNOW what I need to get for people so I just feel stressed...

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

There's been a Major Database Fiasco at our biggest client's office. Not the thing I need when I'm sleepy on a Monday morning.

On the plus side, the day is going by fast.

I should not have bought in bulk.

Prices will keep going down, meara, retailers are not doing great this year. Is my almost completely uninformed opinion, but it's a comforting one in terms of shopping pressure (less comforting in terms of my company making it's revenue target, but oh well!)
