One and the same. The dude has won more Emmy awards for writing than Joss has, plus a whole bunch of WGA awards.
He also wrote the book for the latest version of Chess.
Malcolm was enjoyable. Scrubs is enjoyable. If you're going to reboot, boot thusly.
I like "Beef", even though it's well-made but not especially happy-making(Lots of couples fighting and petty revenge,an attempt perhaps at writing Greek tragedy, American-style maybe) Maybe capitalism is the true antagonist, with which I'm down--the no-longer-poncy bugger owes me many quid, after all, and yet?
Two seasons...right in a row, though is too much Beef--it is Hank Hill's overstuffed colon, too much Beef.
I liked "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" too, but it would have been insane to give it one of those TV versions, even the ones that only lasted for a year.
Did anyone else watch S3 of Good Omens??
I did! Michael Sheen is one hell of an actor.
I got spoiled for it on purpose, and I really don't want to watch it based on what I've read.
I think I do intend to watch it but I haven't yet. Kind of surprised that I haven't heard anything at all. Haven't been looking hard, but I didn't expect to have to look.
I loved the ending but it was a tough 90 minutes getting there. I think if you wanted you could just watch the last...15 minutes, probably? And not feel like you'd missed much?
Hm. That is an interesting idea.
I was really disappointed by it! I should have gone in with lower expectations, I guess, given that I knew they had to cut it down from 6 episodes to one 90-minute ep, but I just felt really let down. Kind of wish in retrospect they had just stopped with season 1 after all.

Season 1 was such delightful lightning in a bottle.
