Mal: Well, you were right about this being a bad idea. Zoe: Thanks for sayin', sir.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Because books.

Sounds like the boxer also had a plan. Poor cat.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

After searching, she discovered the cat in the refrigerator and the boxer chewing on a container of cream. The cat follows the dog everywhere, and the dog learned a new trick: opening the refrigerator.

OMG, that made me laugh.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Poor cold kitty! I have a fear of accidentally closing one of my curious cats in the fridge.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Her main problem is she feels like the day program is too inconveniently located to ask people to drive back and forth. I say that is ridiculous, because people will say no if they don't want to do it.

I think people like having something concrete they can do to help.

I totally agree with you. And there are a ton of people who could do it! This is the benefit of being just at retirement age -- they have plenty of friends with time and ability.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Petri ended up in the fridge once. I guess he was perfectly happy in there until he started getting cold because I wasn't in the kitchen by the time he started crying. It took me a little while to find him, too. It was equal parts hilarious and terrifying.

King cake ice cream is better in theory than in execution, but aren't you glad we live in a world where such things are possible?
