You're right. He's evil. But you should see him naked. I mean really!

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

So boxers are cylons now?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

After searching, she discovered the cat in the refrigerator and the boxer chewing on a container of cream. The cat follows the dog everywhere, and the dog learned a new trick: opening the refrigerator.

OMG, that made me laugh.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Poor cold kitty! I have a fear of accidentally closing one of my curious cats in the fridge.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Her main problem is she feels like the day program is too inconveniently located to ask people to drive back and forth. I say that is ridiculous, because people will say no if they don't want to do it.

I think people like having something concrete they can do to help.

I totally agree with you. And there are a ton of people who could do it! This is the benefit of being just at retirement age -- they have plenty of friends with time and ability.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Petri ended up in the fridge once. I guess he was perfectly happy in there until he started getting cold because I wasn't in the kitchen by the time he started crying. It took me a little while to find him, too. It was equal parts hilarious and terrifying.

King cake ice cream is better in theory than in execution, but aren't you glad we live in a world where such things are possible?

I'd be with those worrying the cat would get trapped in there by the dog!

King cake ice cream? Sounds interesting, but...I could see how that wouldn't be all that. I think I'd rather just have the king cake.

And even if it is inconvenient, if you have enough people, it's not that they're being asked to do it every day, then it's not really all that inconvenient, y'know?

Jesse, I'm glad he's home safe. Sorry about you guys' blood pressure. It's hard to encourage independent folk to ask for help. My neighbor's dad...well, basically, they're at a point where hospice would make everyone's life better. But her mom is stubbornly resisting, even though she can't lift him when he falls. And if he gets out of the hospital this time, he won't be mobile. Sigh.

Made a pass at my taxes. Because of the refi, I need to dig up the tax bill we paid out of the cash at refi $$, as it isn't showing up on the bank stuff. And somewhere, my title and reg fees for the car. Somewhere. And this other thing with the points on the refi, but I'm not sure if I qualify. Uhg. I could never be an accountant (which is kinda hilarious because I'm sort of an accountant of data, but I know my lingo. I do not understand banking and finance lingo. Seriously, when you have $$ and %s who the fuck decided on something called points?!)

In short, uhg. But getting it done, painfully.
