I guess it will be a combination of a pricy but reliable cab driver, my mother, and maybe some friends taking him to and fro. I know we have a friend who did elder care and is now semi-retired not quite by choice, so I suggested my mother hire her, but we're not sure she would take the money. I figure it's worth asking, at least.
I am having a second glass of wine.
Oh, Jesse, how scary. I'm glad it turned out okay.
So glad he is safe, Jesse.
It is currently 0 degrees here. The forecast tomorrow is supposed to be 41 - finally, above freezing! I actually have to leave the house tomorrow.
Jesse, how terrible.
Fingers still crossed Consuela.
A second glass of wine sounds like a good idea, Jesse.
Is there a program at your church that might help? I know ours coordinates volunteers to drink elderly/disabled members to the doctor or on errands. You might ask just to check.
Consuela, all the job ~ma as long as you need it!
Basically, if there were a program at the church, my mother would be running it, so. Her main problem is she feels like the day program is too inconveniently located to ask people to drive back and forth. I say that is ridiculous, because people will say no if they don't want to do it.
I'm glad he's safe, Jesse, but how scary.
In lighter news, my neighbor is a pet sitter, and she went into a client's home and heard muffled meowing from the cat. After searching, she discovered the cat in the refrigerator and the boxer chewing on a container of cream. The cat follows the dog everywhere, and the dog learned a new trick: opening the refrigerator.

Oh dear. They need some of those child-proofing gadgets. Although I never heard that boxers were that smart...
Man, what a let down. I really had begun to hope.
As it is, I get to spend tomorrow on Onerous Tasks: talking to my gyn, and running Dad to appointments. Yay.
Although I never heard that boxers were that smart
Damn. We got breed shade up in here.
