You two carried me through that war. Now I need you to carry me just a little bit further. If you can.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

It is. And worrying is tiring and hospitals are, I think, intrinsically tiring. Glad your mother is doing well.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

As a reward, I'm having king cake for dinner.

My butt hurts. In fact, it hurt with each kick and push off from the pool wall. Seriously distracting and annoying.

Next time someone suggests crosstraining, I'm going to be all DIY HOME IMPROVEMENT MOTHERFUCKER.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Getting up early (after probably sleeping fitfully), sitting in a hospital, worrying/being bored/worrying IS exhausting. And if your mom feels like me after major surgeries, she probably will be loopy and want to sleep anyway. I flat out told my folks to head home after I got back in the room after recovery room. I wanted morphine and silence. HerMMV, of course.

I'm glad it went well. And I hope you get some good sleep tonight!

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I always think I want a Corgi but I think the truth is that I just want Ein the data dog, from Cowboy Bebop.

Glad your mom came through surgery okay, Dana. Hope her recovery goes well.

I split and stacked a little wood today in anticipation but I think we're only getting rain. It'll probably turn into snow tonight. The SO is in crazy snow in New Mexico on his way to tour.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I think the Chusky would make a good non-committal hug man...

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Glad for good news, Dana! Consuela, may Your Nemesis have moved the fuck on by now.

I just got back in touch with an old friend from high school! Happydance! Facebook, your existence is now justified.
