Yay, Dana!
So it's looking pretty promising that I'll be going back to work at Former Employer as a contractor. I'm a bit uneasy about this, not least because I feel like a failure: I was unable to get something better, despite months of trying. And I'm more uneasy because I'll probably have to work with My Nemesis again, which just cheeses me off.
Cross your fingers that something changes for me: I'd much rather do something else. But work is work.
Yay, Dana's mom!
Fingers crossed for you, Consuela.
Yay Dana's mom!
Fingers crossed Consuela's Nemesis is magically not working there anymore or something!
I am jealous of your running-ness. I want to be running. But I have been on the elliptical all month, and the PT said no running for at least 3 more weeks. Stupid body. Plus the Garmin is not nearly as much fun if it's only collecting HR!
yay for the good news, Dana
And fingers crossed here as well, Consuela, that either something better comes along or Nemesis has been hoist on her own petard.
Today has been filled with onerosity--2 hours going over my sister's back taxes with the accountant. Now on to the next onerous task, calling the lawyer to ask him to draft a letter to one of her former colleagues to arrange a polite and legal hand over of a bunch of company files as such.
I think I am going to have to miss out on my planned run today. (a) I left my gym bag in my living room an, more importantly (b) I've had a headache most of the day and i think lying down in a dark room is going to be more my speed once I get home.
Oh well.
Best wishes that the work situation somehow turns out better than you expect, Consuela.
