I love Don Cheagle as well. My friend in high school had a dog named Virginia Woof, which I also loved.

running!
I did a Wii fit run yesterday. Just 1 mile on my rebounder. 15 minutes, but wow are my legs sore. also sore? my lower back. no doubt compensating for my weak-ass abs as I have been doing a few abs exercises. Stupid core.
I should spring board off of all the shoveling the last couple weeks. Today was certainly a workout. BUT I went out to finish the last part of my sidewalk, and the kid next door had done it for me! He was out, so I thanked him profusely (but not embarrassingly). We've gone back and forth with helping out with light shoveling the sidewalks this winter, but this stuff was WORK. What a neighborly act.
Zenyatta's eldest is really turning out to be a lovely horse.

Excellent news, Dana!
Yay, Mom!
Yay, Dana!
So it's looking pretty promising that I'll be going back to work at Former Employer as a contractor. I'm a bit uneasy about this, not least because I feel like a failure: I was unable to get something better, despite months of trying. And I'm more uneasy because I'll probably have to work with My Nemesis again, which just cheeses me off.
Cross your fingers that something changes for me: I'd much rather do something else. But work is work.
Yay Dana!
Fingers crossed Suela.
Yay, Dana's mom!
Fingers crossed for you, Consuela.
