meara, did you share your tonsilitis? I think I have it, too.
I'm so sorry! I still had it this morning but feel better this afternoon. Hoping it's not a case of "I feel better because I took painkiller and it will wear off and I"ll feel worse again". :)
Why isn't it Thursday? Then I could go to the latke truck! Tonight is some sort Cajun-inspired or something?

Tomorrow is the Filipino/Vietnamese truck. And Saturday is the biscuit truck!
I would like to go to all of those trucks.
I am very excited by the trucks! Not that there aren't others nearby (my favorite being the Indian fry-bread truck), but it's fun, and closer to my house than the others.
I need someone to drive a latke truck up to my front door RIGHT NOW.
That does not sound Cajun, but it does sound good.
I found a box of pumpkin bread mix in the cupboard, so I gussied it up with some chopped pecans and raisins, and now it's baking. If we see actual snow, I may also try brownies tomorrow.
I need someone to drive a latke truck up to my front door RIGHT NOW.
If there was a latke truck in Cincinnati I would PASS OUT. And then wake up and eat all the latkes.
Timelies all!
No food trucks around here. (Mmm, latkes) Did find out this weekend that the food court at Montgomery Mall has a place called The Wicked Waffle. Had a smoked turkey and brie waffle sandwich.
That does not sound Cajun, but it does sound good.
According to this writeup [link] it's Caribbean meets Southeast Asian.
That does make rather more sense with their menu. Not sure where I got Cajun from. Trying to decide if I should go get a sandwich from them. I'd like to support the place. Hmm. Maybe I'll see if anyone wants to join me.
