Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Heh. Although I need the scarf or face mask for the walk to the train tomorrow morning.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Give Me One Reason, the Tracy Chapman song? How is that gaslighting?

Hah, no, the Pink song. The guy part sings "I'm sorry I don't understand where all of this is coming from, I thought that we were fine. Your head is running wild again my dear we still have everything and it's all in your mind. You've been having real bad dreams..." Etc.

And then she sings, "Yeah, this is happening" kind of under her breath. I look at it as an example of how far they've disconnected from each other.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

The high temp today was supposed to be in the high 30s. Downright balmy, considering we're going back to below freezing tomorrow. Is winter over yet?

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Snow is falling here. Not really sticking yet, hopefully the roads are warm enough to keep it from sticking tonight.

Sophia, they might have a specific term for such a meeting. I think in hospitals they call them morbidity and mortality meetings? Not 100% sure however. I think they focus on what went wrong in those.

Very true--but M&M meetings are even more specific than post-mortem, that would definitely confuse people if that's not what they're doing.

I am so annoyed by our archaic systems at work. They're godawful and ancient and used for way too many things they weren't built for. And I just entered something and the only way to fix ONE WRONG CLICK is to ask IT. My report is due tomorrow but IT takes up to 5 days apparently. Argh.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

ooh, sounds super annoying, meara.

I knew that M&M meetings were pretty specific--and that I don't know how precisely the term is used--that's why I said I wasn't sure. But "debriefing" seems fairly all-purpose.

Ugh, my poor student. He's a hemophiliac, and he bashed his knee and it has filled with fluid (blood I assume). He has to go to the emergency room and anticipates missing school tomorrow. I'm just thinking what a gruel it must be for him, every little bonk is potentially life threatening!

Oh wow, that does sound like a pain, poor guy.

My tonsils are so annoying at the moment I am wishing I could give myself a tonsilectomy. They always swell up like crazy whenever I'm sick, so right now my throat doesn't hurt because it's raw, but just because they're all swollen. And I can FEEL them. Which is so gross. And annoying. Almost all my cold symptoms are gone, except this. Blech blech blech.

Oh ick, meara, I hate that feeling.
