If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

We had an awesome Grendel cat, so you have my endorsement.

Nada surf? I've never even heard of nada surf--should I have? Am I super out of it?

I'm annoyed that the telecast was delayed for the west coast, so I'm just catching up now.

Traditionally the "best new artist" is the one that sinks a person, right?

I'm not sure what the hell Hunter Hayes is singing, but I like a couple of his songs and this is not them.

Ask Touch of Honey who beat out Elvis Costello.

Wow, Black Sabbath, the Rolling Stones, and a song with Paul McCartney are all nominated for best rock song? That's...odd. I can't quite explain why I think it's so odd.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I'm not watching the Grammys, but that is odd. Except that Best Rock Song is always odd, isn't it? So maybe it's business as usual.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Embrace the chaos, Allyson! Puppies make it all better.

I choose to experience the Grammys through comments here and on FB. Two of my FB friends provide a very Statler and Waldorf style commentary.

OK, PInk is amazing, and I love her. But much as I like the song"Give Me One Reason", it also strikes me as such a gaslighting women song. "no, baby, there's nothing wrong, it's all in your mind!"

PUPPIES!

I demand pictures!

What kind are they, and how old?

To be fair, I got my fill of dogs today: I went to the Golden Gate Kennel Club show, which is one of only two bench dog shows in the US (the other is Westminster). So I saw lots and lots of beautiful dogs. Sadly, my sister's dog (the Diva) was too distracted (possibly by my presence) to perform well. Still, it was fun to see all the dogs. Including an enormous bull mastiff, who was splayed out in the middle of the aisle on his back, surrounded by people who wanted to rub his belly. So cute.

Heh, the Grammys are infamously bad for rock and roll. Flat out stupid and always have been.
