Now, I can hold a note for a long time...actually I can hold a note forever. But eventually that's just noise. It's the change we're listening for. The note coming after, and the one after that. That's what makes it music.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I'm supposed to go up to Milwaukee but am struggling to move.

The status is NOT quo.

I am starting my day at the tire store getting a flat fixed, but they are doing it for free since we are regular customers, so that's pretty great.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I made a serious tactical error. I need more coffee, but in an effort to start doing things, I started the dishwasher, with the French Press inside.

The status is NOT quo.

Oh Lee. That is a problem.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I sanded down my bathroom walls and washed them and started taping up plastic, but then I left and am waiting for pre-haircut Shake Shack. Because we have that now!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Woe. This is why I have so many coffee making devices.

Not really, but it sounds like a good excuse.

I can't do the whole song, but I do go around singing "Three French Press, two Aeropress, and a stove-top espresso maker" sometimes. Sad to say, that does not exhaust my collection. Really sad to say, I only make coffee on the weekends.

The status is NOT quo.

I made the tactical error of not eating or drinking anything caffeinated before going to the tire place. I am regretting this decision.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I went for a run this AM but my running app shut down 3/4 of the way through, so I won't get full credit for the run, woe.

aurelia, further on the Reynaud's thing: I took an Advil Sinus yesterday, because I thought I was coming down with a cold. Those have Sudafed in them. Today I ran outside in chilly weather, and right now my fingers are cold & stiff and a little numb. This is the first time it's happened since last spring. Experimental data!

I have to think of something to do with my dad today, and I kind of don't have any ideas. Bah.

I'm feeling impressed by all of you! And saddened by the lack of coffee. I got some while waiting for the doctor (this urgent care is across the street from the best coffee shop). And I totally sympathize with the running app thing, Consuela! Hate that.

It's so hard to strategize before coffee, but sometimes it needs doing.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

This is why I have so many coffee making devices.

I do have my big coffee maker, but if I make that much coffee, I will drink it, and I am trying not to do that.

Luckily, I think the dishwasher just ended.
