My promotion came through and will be effective on Saturday. We just got our year end increases, which for me was 5% plus a 1% equity raise. As such, I didn't expect the promotion to come with anything additional. I mean, I hadn't even considered the possibility. But I'm getting another 4.5%!!! So my next paycheck will have the original raise and the one after that the combined 10.5%!!! WTF!!!
I have a stupid silly grin on my face.
Now we just need Cory to get some solid news on the job front and we will have a happy household. This morning's interview went well and he was told that they are planning to schedule a second interview next week. So hurry up and wait on that one. He is off to another interview right now.
