Speaking of jewelry, my DH gave me this [link] I have wistfully mentioned Met Store stuff to him for 19 years, but this is the first time he has ever got me something from there. I feel very swanky!

Do we just have to get to Christmas or all of the way through Christmas to win LDB? Because I really would like to win but have low hopes for tomorrow. I did pass on the wine glass tonight with the drum charm. I took the music note festooned one instead. Just in case.
I love my family but I'm ready for some time away from them. Christmas is THE holiday for most of them and everyone else has to play along. Though I am clearly the Grinchiest.
Oh except I like Christmas Eve dinner. Different family and we finally agreed on no gifts. So it's people I like and fun. Also I got to pet the bunny. That's always a nice few hours.
No len here ,either. Merry Christmas and low stress to all
sweet fancy moses, mac was up past midnight and then up at 5:50, which means I was too. so completly wiped.

Ugh there is supposed to be a blizzard hitting tonight into tomorrow morning. Almost certainly my flight will be canceled. But will they let me go out early instead of waiting for days until they have room for me? NO. told me I'd have to pay the $150 change fee plus any fare difference. Grrrrr.
Merry Christmas, folks.
I went out to dinner with my sister and some friends last night. Today, we're going to see Les Miserables, then Chinese food, then the Maccabeats (the Yeshiva University a capella group.)
That's so ridic, meara. Happy Christmas all.
Merry Christmas, Buffistas! I am with the family in Burlington MA where my aunt lives. The hotel wifi is craptastic, but at least it's free. Kids are watching TV, later we will probably head up to the green to play in the snow and see if anywhere is open for lunch (my clever plan of going to the mall food court has been thwarted by the mall being closed for Christmas). Turns out way more things are closed for Christmas in Boston than in NYC. At least the hotel has a pool.
Later it's over to my aunt's house for Christmas dinner where hopefully the kids will be content to watch Netflix on the iPad and let us have some adult conversation!
Merry Christmas, everyone! We're doing brunch at my daughter's, so I need to go cut up fruit. Maybe throw a little booze on it to make it festive.
Safe traveling, meara! It was so gray here yesterday, I was hoping for a little fresh snow for Christmas, but alas, it seems you have bogarted it all.
