Everything is finally wrapped. I think. It's ridic.
We had a covert operator make a spying attempt. I'm thinking even the pretense of the jig is up with this one.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

I have yet again told Noah that there is no Santa, yet he doesn't believe me still.
He said, "Santa's going to bring all of the presents." And I pointed out there was no more room in the corner where the tree is because we have ALL the presents already. I then reminded him that we give gifts, Santa doesn't. And if there is a Santa then all sorts of people, himself included, are Santa to others. This then devolved into him holding a grudge for being forced to give away an unopened Candyland game for the toy drive at school. Noah's argument, "But we don't have our Candyland anymore?!"
Getting ready for adult christmas tomorrow-- bob and I, plus broseph and his girlfriend. She's a rabbi's daughter, so I like to think this will be an unusual day for her, but I think it might have been a mixed marriage. In any event, making sure the tree is trimmed and the wine flowing. Having a dinner of duck breast, parsnips and bread pudding, maybe with Die Hard to follow.
Kat, those PJ pics are adorable. And Grace with friends is awesome and definitely happymaking.
I hope you get out okay, meara.
Ooh, praline liqueur cheesecake. Sounds nummy.
Yay for everything being wrapped, sara--now if it just stays that way till morning.
ms.Nicest, this is about a quarter of the entire collection. Before we moved, I sold and gave away most of the rest. Made some people happy. One friend and Steiff collector had an ebay store, and I gave her many to sell and split the proceeds. I only had to panic call her and beg for two bears back--I missed them more than I thought I would.
Well, we went to Family Mass (during which my dad announced that he wants to move to that neighborhood ::facepalm::), and drank a nice bottle of Donkey & Goat, including my nieces in the wine-drinking for the first time that I can remember. And I drove the folks home and now I am refreshing Is it Yuletide Yet and pondering whether I should try to finish writing a Yuletide Treat, or drink some Glenlivet.
Tomorrow will be loads more family and food.
... I begin to envy those people who spend the holidays with friends. At least a little bit. I'm a bit family'd out.
Ms. Aretha Franklin - O Holy Night.
Merry Christmas to all who celebrate it.
Happy December 25th otherwise.
Peace and love to all.
Watching Serenity with my brother. We really are getting up EARLY! Oops.
Speaking of jewelry, my DH gave me this [link] I have wistfully mentioned Met Store stuff to him for 19 years, but this is the first time he has ever got me something from there. I feel very swanky!
Do we just have to get to Christmas or all of the way through Christmas to win LDB? Because I really would like to win but have low hopes for tomorrow. I did pass on the wine glass tonight with the drum charm. I took the music note festooned one instead. Just in case.
I love my family but I'm ready for some time away from them. Christmas is THE holiday for most of them and everyone else has to play along. Though I am clearly the Grinchiest.
Oh except I like Christmas Eve dinner. Different family and we finally agreed on no gifts. So it's people I like and fun. Also I got to pet the bunny. That's always a nice few hours.
