What's the last atypical thing you did?
Atypical for me, you mean?
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
What's the last atypical thing you did?
Atypical for me, you mean?
yep
Unless you want to take it broader
I do that too, brenda -- I need covers!
ita, the pant legs ride up, so they bunch around at best my knees, and often my thighs. As I sleep.
Flight Behavior, the new Barbara Kingsolver book, but that book made me so upset and paranoid about climate change that I decided I needed to read something that probably wouldn't make me feel like I was going to die.
Oh jeez -- no wonder I've been putting off reading that book.
Job hunting with depression is the WORST, msbelle. I feel you. You know I've been in that cycle where my job doesn't think I'm good, so I'm less good at my job, so I need a new one, but I feel like I'm not good, etc., etc.
What's the last atypical thing you did?
It's kind of tragic that I can't come up with anything.
All kinds of ~ma of all kinds, msbelle. Hang in there.
What's the last atypical thing you did?
For me, probably updating my Google+ profile, which I haven't looked at in months. Also, ordering soup instead of pizza for lunch.
Jumped off a boat in the pacific ocean to chase after dolphins. (Ended up mostly chasing after jellyfish.)
atypical
I left work during work hours.
OK, it was to buy a carry case for my new work laptop, and I paid with a work-related gift card, but still.
Also, you guys! I found out today that a major project that has eaten my life the last six months and is going to be super important and high profile, up to the global CEO level, and be a just a really fucking big deal, came through today. And I can't tell anybody at work until next week sometime because formalities and CEOs shaking hands and whatnot. But yay!
ita, they don't ever ride up when you turn over?
Never higher than mid calf, no. And I'm wearing socks so it's not the end of the world,
The last atypical thing I did was probably work-related. Pushing a point with all the directors, even the ones I'd never met before.
But I don't tend to think of things I've done as atypical, just things I haven't done yet. Once I do them, they're typical enough that I might very well do them again.
Dammit, I was supposed to pick up a prescription from the doctor's office today. But I do have enough meds to get to next week...and I'd love a proper lie down...
msbelle, that's a hard place to get wedged into. You need as many places as possible where you don't feel your back is against the wall.
global CEO level, and be a just a really fucking big deal
Awesome!
