God, I am glad I did not come here first thing this morning and find the site down. Craptastic morning.
Did you all know that mac's life is horrible and his behavior a problem because I am so lazy. true fact. it was screamed at me several times this morning, sometimes accompanied by papers being thrown about the kitchen. not. even. 12yo. yet. how many more years?
oh and then a woman cut me off as I was merging off the highway and I had to swerve into a curb to avoid her (small scrape on the underside of my front bumper and I am sure the alignment is off now).
I am applying coffee and pastries.
Oh jeez, msbelle. Coffee and pastries sound like the way to go.
Good luck, Dana!!
This is pretty interesting:
Dystextia: jumbled text messages as stroke symptom. - Slate Magazine
It cites two examples of strokes being detected by the patient's jumbled text messages.
Internship applicant claims to have an "excessive understanding" of our business. Pretty sure that's not the adjective he was going for.
UNC's Southern Historical Collection has my kind of March Bracket going on Facebook: weird names of the South. I gotta say, "Confederate States Royston" might just take it all. [link]
The only thing better would be if Christopher Lee was involved somehow.
He could finally be the ring-bearer!
My problem with dystextia is that Ambien and dilaudid both inspire it. I don't know how I talk on Ambien, so I don't have a control, but I can talk a
lot
more clearly than I can type on dilaudid. Nurses can't tell I'm under the influence, but writing for the next half hour or so is a no-no. And re-reading is useless.
As you've no doubt noticed.
I gotta say, "Confederate States Royston" might just take it all.
It's especially good because I imagine ole C.S. Royston coming after the other ones, because his parents were pissed off that other family members kept naming people after Yankee states. And were indecisive.
and I just tripped over a doorstop and fell on my ass in front of the main building.
can I just go away now? I kinda don't want to go home.
