Hey, I've been in a firefight before! Well, I was in a fire. Actually, I was fired from a fry-cook opportunity. I can handle myself.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I have to say I'm... surprised.

Because books.

Is anyone else going to watch Bates Motel? I can't decide if it looks worth it or like a train wreck.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I read one person's comment that Bates Motel was great--but I don't remember if they were a person with taste.

Hey, can I be less useful?

Perhaps, if I work at it.

I don't know what I'd do without this facilitating nurse. She hasn't fixed anything yet, but she's the only hope I have of anything. She's going to try and get my next dose moved up, and then we'll work the rest out when we get to the weekend/Monday.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Is anyone else going to watch Bates Motel?

Absolutely not. I think I am instituting a new rule: no prequels.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Is anyone else going to watch Bates Motel?

I am. I don't know when because there is a backlog on the DVR right now, but I'm recording it.

Tom Hardy nuzzles all the dogs all the time--the OG T-Hard tumblrs that I follow have more puppies than beefcake, but this was the win: [link]

Yeah, she was a big zero. Unless she found me this woman? I have been assuming my doctor has been responsible for that, but the last month of the ER was a clusterfuck about which I have few clear memories. I don't know if I mentioned that at any point. Or just at all of them...

Because books.

I have now already missed the first five minutes, and I don't seem to be getting up off this bed, so ...

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I don't think it was stupid; I think it was willful and purposeful.

Seems like a bit of both to me.
