All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

That's so disappointing of Michelle Shocked.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

We did not get the house we offered on. However, this is a good thing, because we'd decided we actually liked another house better, so now we have offered on that one.

Yay! Dana. May the second offer be accepted.

I drove by my old house and they painted it the ugliest shade of green possible. Like rotted avocado. The rose bushes looked good, but the lawn was dead and crabgrassy. The overall street impression was yuck. I'd be so curious to see what they did inside.

Meanwhile, I am making "we are moving house and must use up this stuff" soup. Vegetables, ground chicken, chicken broth, coconut milk, black beans, and a little curry powder.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Also sad about Michelle Shocked. I always thought she was a lesbian.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I thought Michelle Shocked was some flavor of LGBT herself? Though I suppose that doesn't actually prevent one from becoming a raging anti-gay crusader, so many of the Fervent Republican politicians who later get caught with their hands in the go-go boy's thong seem to be...

My busted up trashcan lid has gone absent. It was there yesterday. I swear, there must be trashcan fetishists in the 'hood.

In much nicer news, T was finalist again at the Morgan State S&E fair and they're again sending her to the INTEL International science and engineering fair this May!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

That's so disappointing of Michelle Shocked.

Concur. I like what I know of her music, and I always thought she was cooler than that.
