'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I deduced the reason that the neighbor 3 doors down walked away from his house a couple years ago.

Really, you can't just leave me hanging like that...

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Theo, she could tell you, but...

My co-workers have started asking me to draw them. Does that ever turn out well? Especially if one of them is a guy who'd described himself to me (aka a non-blind person) as tall dark and handsome. Two out of three, bro. Two's all you got.

Okay, back to posting to the provocateuse tumblr. It has been FOREVER.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Depends on how good the drawing is, and if you do it while he's watching. I've found that non-artists are usually so amazed by the process of drawing when htey watch that they're not too critical of the artist including non-flattering features.

Congrats to CJ!

What was your prekindergarten called, Thunderdome Preschool?

Hah! This was in the halcyon days 4 decades ago when administrators wouldn't regard a rebar sticking up out of a playground dirt pile as litigation waiting to happen (and to be fair my parents never considered suing or even complaining to the parents of the kid who smacked me with it; a lost tooth and busted lip wouldn't even register as anything to cry about in my dad's family). Teachers also let us roll/chase abandoned tires down the hill and then grab them to be flipped over during recess.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Yay CJ!

Congratulations, CJ!!!

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Ugh, I got rerouted to Seattle last night so instead of getting home at 11pm, I am at the airport waiting for an 8am flight. I got 3 hours of sleep and I despise everyone.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Argh, I just logged into mint.com for the first time in awhile, and ALL of my ATM withdrawals are listed as Wal-Mart/shopping. WTF?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I do not know the ways of Mint.

I hope you are home and sleeping or soon will be, Dana.

I scrolled by Downton Abbey on iTunes earlier today, I assumed it was Season 3 but I did not stop to look. I don't know if it was to buy or rent or for how much or anything, but I think it's there.

OK, today I am productive! I have moved the plants out of the greenhouse, watered the pots in the front yard, fed the birds, cleaned and filled the birdbath, watered the indoor plants, seen one load of laundry all the way through to being put away with three more in various stages of being done, and unloaded and reloaded the dishwasher. Next up - paying bills, because I can do that while sitting down and with the TV on.

Because books.

Speaking of Downton, I'm halfway through S2 and apparently I'm going to cry more than once every episode from now on. Good god.

Congratulations on the black belt, CJ! That's quite an accomplishment.
