Wash: So, two days in a hospital? That's awful. Don't you just hate doctors? Simon: Hey. Wash: I mean, present company excluded. Jayne: Let's not be excluding people. That'd be rude.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Jesse's proper butter warmer would look very nice on my stove. IJS.

My spoons are both circular in cross section and reasonably deep - the teaspoons hold a teaspoon measure, and likewise the tablespoons, which is handy. The whole set is on the modern side, though, which not everyone likes. Dansk Rondure [link]

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

My flatware is a set that I got from Macy's when I got my first apartment, because it was really cheap and looked more grown-up than the plastic-handled kind I had in college. It's fairly boring looking, but it's held up pretty well, and I don't actually dislike it, so I've kept it. As soon as I got a real job, though, I replaced my cheap dishes with Fiestaware.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That one sold [link] but it was only $10 with shipping, and I bet there are others around.

I bought two on eBay just now. One is yellow, one is the kind that sits over a tea light to stay warm. Neither was very expensive, at least.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Someone sat down at their desk, looked at a photo of three metal bowls...and had to do something.

I know folks who work at Zulily. You've pretty much described their jobs.

So, I've been "shopping" through my bin of clothes that I packed away as being too small some time in the past, which has been totally fun and has netted me a full laundry basket of clothes that actually fit me better than most of what's in my closet. I just came across my Pi shirt from ThinkGeek! A day late, no, two, but I forgot I even had it so that's a nice surprise.

Eta: ooh, and my Buffistas SF2F shirt! Awesome!

Man, I am chatty today. But I am home and not working and got eight hours of sleep and kind of feel like - you know when you run with ankle weights and then take them off and almost feel like you can fly? Like that.

Anyway, made myself a fancy lunch of avocado and endive stuffed with walnuts and feta in a balsamic vinegar/lime cordial reduction and I'm going to post a link to a picture of it to see how this Food app works. [link]

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Home.

still having waves of nausea, which is no fun and makes me wary to get in the car for errands (like getting the dog and food), but I will take some medicine and home for the best.

Mac is extremely happy to be home. I think 3 days at a vacation spot from now on.
