Love it.
Natter 71: Someone is wrong on the Internet
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Someone sat down at their desk, looked at a photo of three metal bowls...and had to do something.
I know folks who work at Zulily. You've pretty much described their jobs.
So, I've been "shopping" through my bin of clothes that I packed away as being too small some time in the past, which has been totally fun and has netted me a full laundry basket of clothes that actually fit me better than most of what's in my closet. I just came across my Pi shirt from ThinkGeek! A day late, no, two, but I forgot I even had it so that's a nice surprise.
Eta: ooh, and my Buffistas SF2F shirt! Awesome!
Man, I am chatty today. But I am home and not working and got eight hours of sleep and kind of feel like - you know when you run with ankle weights and then take them off and almost feel like you can fly? Like that.
Anyway, made myself a fancy lunch of avocado and endive stuffed with walnuts and feta in a balsamic vinegar/lime cordial reduction and I'm going to post a link to a picture of it to see how this Food app works. [link]
Home.
still having waves of nausea, which is no fun and makes me wary to get in the car for errands (like getting the dog and food), but I will take some medicine and home for the best.
Mac is extremely happy to be home. I think 3 days at a vacation spot from now on.
Welcome home, msbelle. I hope you feel better soon.
Ooh, the food app! Your meal is too much like salad for me to appreciate, but those are nice dishes...why did I go deliberate diner white again???
I used Evernote Food when I was home for Christmas. Got pretty diligent about it, and the app somehow made my food look better. Fuck, I've been using it to record my opinions of different kinds of apples, and it somehow looks less pedestrian than that effort deserves.
Note: that is not the Platonic parental knife, but the fork is appealing.
No way I could do the round spoons--the correctly proportioned oval is a key consideration for anything I will eat cereal out of. I also have strict bowl requirements.
FiestaWare, baby! I also have a set of diner white because sometimes that's the only way to go.
The dishes I had in Detroit were one colour per setting, all deep jewel tones from Pier 1 with matching cappucino mugs--that's the biggest failure I have right now--not enough 14-16 oz mugs. I've only got two, but that's how much I need to drink at once, min.
Why does that guy on CBS keep saying he's having a colonoscopy right now? It's disquieting.
I have a kid question--does kindergartner and missing tooth make sense together? How tall would she be, and would she use a booster seat at a restaurant?
I DON'T KNOW THESE THINGS.
Many kids start to lose teeth in K. The first to go are the lower central incisors, then usually the top central incisors, but those are more typically 1st grade.
Most Ks would not use a booster seat in a restaurant, but would in a car. Size varies, of course; you might expect anywhere between 40-48 inches.
