Yeah... That went well.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Happy birthday, tommyrot!

Kat, I am sorry to hear you are ill, but I have to say, you're one of the few people I know who finds out she has bronchitis and decides to do her taxes since she's taken the day off--oh no wait--I mean she had to stay home with her kid that day.

Whew. Work stuff done! Well, at least, the urgently-needed-before-vacation stuff. Along wtih the not-cancer and stuff. Yay.

I agree with Burrell, Kat is amazing to me.

My roommate is cleaning off the TiVo..and finally watching the Oscars. Which kinda cracks me up.

I didn't even watch them on the day they aired. Oh well.

Now tagless for your comfort.

My cousin's husband texted me a crazy-ass conspiracy theorist teabag blogger's opinion piece on Westernjournalism.com and wanted to know my opinion on it because I'm "the smartest liberal he knows."

It's about how martial law is coming. And how Obama will be able to institute martial law after, and I quote, "Obama, Soros, and the gaggle of leftist globalist pull some type of monetary switch to crash the U.S. stock market. Our economy then implodes in a matter of days, if not hours; and Obama, with his martial law executive order in hand steps up to his teleprompter and beams to every home in America his call for “temporary” martial law.

HEADDESK.

Seriously considering becoming a hermit.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Now that Snopes is a "liberal conspiracy" I've given up on even trying.

Now tagless for your comfort.

The real difference between liberal conspiracy theorists and conservative conspiracy theorists is that the conservatives are trying to scare people that own a lot of guns.

Where are we on Buffista Island?

OMG, this early morning brought to you by the elderly cat who has rediscovered the game of Shove All The Things Off. She needs her nose wiped, is wasting away to nothing and BY GAWD, YOU WILL WAKE UP WHEN SHE SAYS.

It's raining, does that mean I have the day off? No?

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

That was a wonderful obit. And a really great watch, too. I'm trying to remember which friend of mine it was that couldn't wear metallic watchbands at all because of severe allergy. She found a couple Swatch bands that were all plastic and plastic-backed watch body, but there were so few it was a real problem.

Our wings are not tired.

Sara, it's 5:16 and I'm awake due to elderly dog having a tick on her ear. Chile is very good at coming to me and staring at me while I'm asleep when vile creatures are sucking her blood. Always the same intense stare that bores through me even when I'm asleep and having Harry Potter dreams. She knows I'll wake up enough to put a hand on her ears and rub and that's ALWAYS when I find the suckers. They're never very engorged because they're half dead from her Frontline, but I'm sure their presence is damned annoying nevertheless.

So I'm with you in pets-owning-us-in-the-wee-hours solidarity!

msbelle, so glad you're having a blast!!
