I swear, once I saw my webcam light blink out of the corner of my eye, and I almost set my laptop on fire. And then installed remote control software on my father's computer, BUT I NEVER USE IT. I think he knows it's there...
The webcam related stuff that grossed me out was the PC rental company alleged to be recording customers: [link] including sex and naked minors and stuff. 14 year olds with unsecured internet connections are one thing, but...just ick.
In continuing news of how low my bar can go, I thought my cold was gone today. I can't breathe through my nose, but "not clawing my face off" was such a big win I forgot some of the other symptoms.
Steph--I ended up buying a tie from that site you said Tim was shopping from. Enough Macy's. Nothing exciting or geeky, but I needed one in cream, so I got this [link] in microfiber.

You can thank Jilli for that. She linked it in a Gothic Charm School post once, and I've had it bookmarked since then, waiting for a reason to buy him a fancy tie. (My other choice was the ampersand tie, because it seemed fitting for a wedding.)
Unrelatedly, now that I've eaten the bourbon fudge, I have a headache. I call no fair.

I just realised I'd made a tumblr ties shopping post, and went back to see who the vendor was, and...Cyberoptix for the continued win. I was supposed to buy the circuit board ties for instance. I don't think I want them in brass colour, but, DUDE. I definitely should wear that to work next business formal day...
