I caught her on a park bench, making out with a *chaos* demon! Have you ever seen a chaos demon? They're all slime and antlers.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I want a nap too. But a hot bath before that. Or maybe some time in a sauna.

Maybe I'll go to a Russian bathhouse this weekend.

Hivemind! I am writing a cover letter and I need help with this sentence: "As a post-production house, CaptionMax had a very tech-savvy staff, so I am comfortable with Geeky Peeps." But I don't want to say geeky peeps. What could I say instead? Or maybe I should just restructure the whole sentence? Any suggestions?

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Yes, it's a IT services company, so I want to stress that I am comfortable with techy people.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

But I don't want to say geeky peeps. What could I say instead?

Nerds!

Sorry, not helpful.

Comfortable with working in an IT-heavy environment. Comfortable with technical jargon and....nerds.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I have been productive as hell all morning and yet I haven't touched the stuff I had planned to accomplish today.

And I have an Excel query that is kicking my ass. Normally I can make MS Query do flips and for this one report it is just giving me the stupid look.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh, looking at the view may be the thing I do first. I certainly do it pretty soon, even when the view is a parking lot or a wall (I have to look to find that out, after all).

I am hogging all the workday mojo, it seems. I have new tasks and I am plowing right through them, and my manager swung by to say she heard I was "rockin' over here". So that's good.

I like that one, Flea. Thanks!
