February in Chicago had the lowest murder rate of any single month since like 1957. Of course, that was still 14 murders, so.
What is it usually--30 to 40?

FAIL. Insufficient data. No, really. My car has not been driven enough since the repair. I've got to go back in the next month. Sigh. They suggested a week, I said I drive less than 50 miles a week, they said, maybe 3.
So I gassed up the car, went to Target and got a pedicure.

My watchband just broke. That's the most interesting thing that's happened to me this morning.
(Well, that and stumbling across maybe the most depressingly iconic piece of 1980s footage I've ever seen - VHS tapes being packaged on an assembly line in the US. 2 relics of a long-forgotten age...VHS tapes and American manufacturing jobs.)
