I am guessing that sweet potatoes in the US are wildly mislabled much of the time.

Natter 71: Someone is wrong on the Internet
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
In other news...I'm conspiring with a couple of my work PMs to get the company to fly me out to the bay area for a few days in mid-March. I already have one gal, who isn't the decision maker, offering up budget.
Oh, I save paper copies of all my taxes and all associated paperwork (even the postits that detail where to look online for donation info.) Which reminds me, need to email this year's to work to print out.
Devi's head-tilt is getting more pronounced. But she can still breathe. Tumor or polyp, nothing to do but wait until it's time. Hopefully, this is a slow growth. And it goes from not-bad to enough decisively.
Is there like an avocado CSA program where I can buy a timeshare in someone's Southern California backyard and they send me avocados?
This could be me! It's not my avocado tree, but our neighbors and there are So Many Avos in my side yard that it's a bit disconcerting. But they taste better than the ones in our old yard. As do our lemons, our oranges and now we have pears and figs and cheremoya and quince.
Oh. and pomegranates.
4 cop cars and 8 cops conferencing at the end of my alley on Ellerslie. One waved at me. Couldn't tell if it was the one that stopped me last week. Curious.
I am so in love with this pen [link] that I went to Amazon and submitted a review. I don't even shop on Amazon. I'm just enjoying the pen, and am annoyed that the Staples near me doesn't have the marvellous seven colour pack, as well as more black ones for my every station--I need them stashed in all my bags, near all phones, everywhere. Emergency notes and drawing could break out at any time. I was a Girl Guide. I need to be prepared.
Kat+pomegranate=LA.
No solution to the break-ins, sara?
You know, our old house didn't have a pomegranate, but Lori's did. Now we have access to two pomegranate trees. So many poms that the birds ate most of them this year.
Grace wears the probe for her pulse oximeter on her toe. She wears the same probe for as long as we can, usually a week. This morning and just a few minutes ago, it randomly would go off. When I walked into her room, she was waving her foot around setting the alarm off. GROWL.

I've been using Pilot since high school, love them. By the looks of things, I currently have on me V5s in all available colours except purple. (Used to have that too. I think it started leaking.) Their predecessors, the hi-tec points, had brown and orange too. (The multiple colours were fantastic for drawing graphs in Economics exams.)
Has anyone else had Hatch popcorn? Delicious even if painfully hot. Must stop eating.
