But? There's always a but. When this is over, can we have a big 'but' moratorium?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I thought it was because it's close to platypus

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I thought it was because it's close to platypus

Well, exactly. I'm also a big fan of the font Eddykna.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Should I make different photo lists for my mother, father, and sister? I mean, my father doesn't care so much about the relatives on my mother's side of the family, but what to fill the space up with? Man, I'm glad I didn't buy the 120 picture ones. This is perfectly crazy enough.

Still have to finish configuring my sister's laptop, and start on my father's. And then flash the routers and do preliminary config on them too.

Work day continues apace. All the approvals are in, so the QA implementation can begin. I just want to know when I can go back to sleep.

3 bags of leaves. Heavy, mulchy leaves. I couldn't carry them, so put them on the trunk of my car and drove them around back.

Woke up at 5 this morning. Unneccessary! But I had all 3 cats on the bed at one point, and even Devi curled up against me. She hasn't done that in ages. It is interesting how the dynamic changes, even though MK was such a low-key, low-threat cat. He almost always came in to sleep on the bed, and Devi wouldn't when he was up there. Loki and Pumpkin have such a good time together (though I don't appreciate using my bed as a wrestling ring in the middle of the night,) it seems to have actually made Devi less aggressive.

Anyway...I should do something else productive (I lay in bed reading for most of the morning,) but eh.

OB apologises. One of the few times I wish I had a normal name. It wouldn't be the same if I lied.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Erin, when the flurry of activity from my closet culling sale has settled down a bit, I will look at your font choices! (Not quite 30 minutes since the sale went live, almost half the items claimed.)

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

what is OB apologizing for?

Compassionately intolerant

That OB advert just might be the most incredible thing I have seen in the last decade. Seriously? Who thought of that? Genius!

I did notice the fine print saying that the message was meant for Canadian viewers. I wonder if that means USians are out of luck.

You missed the missing OB foofurrah? OMG. They were off the shelves with no explanations for months. I didn't ever read an explanation, but I was so glad they were back I wasn't asking any questions.

Every store I asked in *expected* them in, as in--no one was talking about a discontinuation, and the spaces remained on the shelves for them, but I couldn't find them anywhere near where I work or live. Motherfuckers. I did have a big stockpile, so I only had to venture offbrand for a little while, but I'm keeping stocked up from now.

I think the apology is definitely a post-Old Spice Guy world.

My sister just harassed me for missing two days calling home. Except--I only missed one. Unless I'm taking shopping orders, I call home every *two* days. She sighed and said it felt like everyday. That's so...nice.
