So we just got back from the late hours vet. Not emergency, more like urgent care for dogs. The verdict is that the Biscuit has injured a muscle in his leg, maybe a minor tear. But it's not hip dysplasia and it's not a torn ACL, which is what the vet really thought. So, best of the possibles. We're still not sure how it happened, but we have anti-inflammatories and pain meds and a very drunk doggie now.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Yay for it being nothing more severe.
The wind has picked up and I am too tired to go to bed. That's a bad sign, isn't it?
Poor Biscuit!
Holy CRAP are the Santa Ana winds howling right now. Doors and windows shaking in their frames and blowing open and closed.
Ha! I was coming to post about being scared that the tree branch will fall on the roof during the night because it's that windy, and I see Kat and Pix have already posted about the winds. Dang.
I was going to do my nails tonight (Antique Sparkle on my hands, Iris Dust on the toes) but I'm too tired. Personal grooming will have to wait.
Yeah, there's a lot of wind slamming and banging here.
Oh--for anyone that heard about the Hunger Games nailpolish colours that were coming out--apparently they're now not. And there's a breach of contract suit in effect.
I might really *need* to do my nails. It has been really long.
I need to do mine, that's for sure. Mani/pedi weekend?
I'm also going to color my hair this weekend. I consulted with my stylist and she was nice enough to check what I'd bought before it went on my head. She approved of the red but wants me to swap the brown for a slightly darker shade, so now I'll have the right color.
I'm at the point of not being able to leave the house without a hat until I dye my hair again. Damn, my hair is gray.
Honestly? I kinda like it. It's silvery. If there weren't so little contrast around my (pale) face, I might just accept reality and stop dying it.
The wind has blown ALL the trellis in the backyard over the short brick wall. We can no longer let the pets out without a leash until we cobble it back together.
