Actually, I was thinking it would be sort of like a pet. You know, we could...we could name her Trixie, or Miss Kitty Fantastico, or something.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Yeah, there's a lot of wind slamming and banging here.

Oh--for anyone that heard about the Hunger Games nailpolish colours that were coming out--apparently they're now not. And there's a breach of contract suit in effect.

I might really *need* to do my nails. It has been really long.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I need to do mine, that's for sure. Mani/pedi weekend?

I'm also going to color my hair this weekend. I consulted with my stylist and she was nice enough to check what I'd bought before it went on my head. She approved of the red but wants me to swap the brown for a slightly darker shade, so now I'll have the right color.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I'm at the point of not being able to leave the house without a hat until I dye my hair again. Damn, my hair is gray.

Honestly? I kinda like it. It's silvery. If there weren't so little contrast around my (pale) face, I might just accept reality and stop dying it.

The status is NOT quo.

The wind has blown ALL the trellis in the backyard over the short brick wall. We can no longer let the pets out without a leash until we cobble it back together.

The status is NOT quo.

I'm still up because things keep getting thrown up against the house. I've heard metal, wood, trash cans, and buckets rolling around or slamming against the walls. The wind sounds like a freight truck. The gate outside and the window in the bathroom keeps slamming open and closed--latches won't hold. It's pretty damned scary here. ND is working downtown. I'm worried about him driving in this.

I am not a fan of windpocalypse, ftr. ND is home though, so that's good. Going to try to get a few hours of sleep before work. The drive in is not going to be pretty.
