Tara: What's so bad about them coming here? Aren't they good guys? I mean, Watchers, that's just like whole other Gileses, right? Buffy: Yes! They're scary and horrible!

Punishingly Intricate

sara, that picture kills me. So sweet. I'm very sorry for your loss. He was a good guy and you were lucky to have each other.

My cats do eat the DM but if there is some place that would take the donation, you should do that. like, Charm City Cat rescue?

S says ON jeans shrink about 1/8" when washed, so they should be perfect.

This has not been true in my experience. But maybe it depends on the style? Anyway, yay for fitting jeans! That is such a great feeling.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I would be willing to hug you people, given that we don't see each other often. I almost fell out on a business trip recently when two coworkers hugged good bye. A) Coworkers. B) They were going to see each other in two days!

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Oh, sara, I am so very sorry about MK. I wanted to share a Noah story with you: This morning he was painting with the watercolors I got him. He is doing a series of pictures from the book Big Pumpkin. He painted 10 or so different pictures and said, "I'm making one for everyone I love." So I asked like who and he said, "Like Sara. I love her. Can we mail one to her? But what if it gets wet?"

Grace is home from surgery already. They did not use the laser and the granuloma they removed last time is gone. They did a little bit of balloon dilation. Doc doesn't want to see Grace for 3 months which is the longest we've gone between surgeries. I wonder what this means?

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Aw, Noah. So cute.

That's good news about Grace!

That's good news about Grace!

It is but I'm still disappointed. I had secretly hoped she would be decannulated today since she is now willing to wear her speaking valve and can breathe fine through nose and mouth. Alas. No.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The main business unit I work with has an in joke about my department. They say working with us is like living in an Ikea ad, because our web developers use so many tables. Yes, that's more geeky than funny. No, they shouldn't be telling me how they laugh at my teammates. But IO9 just linked to an ad about living inside an IKEA-like catalogue and all I can think is "I should send it to them, it's an in joke" and "No, I don't do in jokes with co-workers" battling each other. Then I watch it and they say fuck, so I feel okay not sharing it, even though the business unit does swear in front of me.

Then again, I was in the cafe yesterday, trying to order a smoothie, which I hadn't for months, and I couldn't remember what I liked. I said so out loud and the cashier said "Strawberry Twist" with complete assurance. I explained I disliked having a usual because then people knew what I wanted to have, and she kinda looked at me like I was weird and then assured me there were other people more usual than me.

It's like strange people are relating to me. It's icky.

No hugging, though!

Noah!

And good on Grace. Maybe three months is decannulating time...

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Sara, so sorry about Mr. Kitty. He's been a Buffista for as long as I remember...I am on drugs for a cold.

Except with me, though, right?
